Frequently Asked Questions
What ages are your magic shows suitable for?
Rosanna’s performances are designed primarily for children aged 4–12 years, but the shows are written in a way that parents, teachers and carers enjoy them too.
Different routines and storytelling elements are adjusted depending on the age group.
What types of events do you perform at?
Rosanna performs at a wide range of children’s and family events, including:
• Schools and school incursions
• Kindergartens and early learning centres
• OSHC and Vacation Care programs
• Agricultural shows and festivals
• Family fun days and community events
• Library and holiday programs
Shows can be adapted for small groups or large stage audiences.
How long are the magic shows?
Most performances run for approximately 45 minutes, which is the perfect length to keep children engaged and entertained.
For larger events such as festivals or agricultural shows, show length can be tailored to suit the program.
Do you offer magic workshops for children?
Yes! Rosanna offers interactive magic workshops where children learn simple magic tricks they can perform themselves.
These workshops help develop:
• confidence
• creativity
• presentation skills
• problem solving
Children love leaving the session feeling like real magicians.
What is the Artist in Residence Magic Program?
The Artist in Residence (A.I.R) Magic Program is a special school program where Rosanna works with students over several sessions.
Students learn magic tricks, develop performance skills and work together towards a final Magic Circus performance for the school community.
It’s a wonderful way to encourage confidence, creativity and teamwork.
What space do you need for a magic show?
Rosanna’s shows are very flexible and can work in:
• school halls
• classrooms
• libraries
• outdoor covered areas
• festival stages
Ideally a clear performance space of around 3 metres by 3 metres is perfect, but Rosanna is experienced at adapting to different venues.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes. Rosanna brings all the necessary magic props and sound equipment required for the performance.
For very large outdoor events or festival stages, additional production requirements can be discussed with organisers.
How many children can watch the show?
Rosanna regularly performs for:
• small classroom groups
• full school assemblies
• large festival audiences
The performance style adapts easily to different audience sizes.
Can the show support learning outcomes?
Yes. Rosanna’s performances naturally encourage:
• imagination and creativity
• social interaction
• confidence and participation
• curiosity and problem solving
• storytelling and communication
This makes the shows particularly popular with schools, kindergartens and OSHC programs.
